If you’re considering commissioning a piece for the first time, it can be intimidating, but, it can also be a fun and collaborative experience! Like many artists I am open to taking on commissions, as it shows that people are enjoying my work.

There are a few things that you should consider before commissioning a piece of art.
Firstly you should make sure that you have a good understanding of what you are looking for and where it will be placed.
Second you should have a fair idea of the mediums of material that you want your chosen artist to use.
Third it is a good idea to have a budget in mind and ensure you are fully aware of what your chosen artist is going to do for you before they start your commission.
Lastly keep an open communication with your chosen artist throughout the process.
